The Instruments

The research design for this study comprises three main stages:

  1. Identification of factors: In this stage, qualitative research methods, such as literature review and expert interviews, are employed to identify the factors contributing to network bottlenecks under different traffic conditions.

  2. Data collection and analysis: Quantitative data, including network performance metrics and traffic patterns, are collected and analyzed to validate the identified factors and assess their impact on bottleneck process flow.

  3. Simulation modeling and validation: A simulation model is developed to represent network behavior under various traffic conditions, and the model's validity is tested using real-world network data.
